What is Pantry?
Pantry gives independent restaurants the purchasing power of a big chain. Big chains have procurement teams that negotiate deals and check every invoice for price changes, errors and discrepancies. For an independent, those slip through the cracks, drive up food costs and eat your margin. Pantry does that work for you.
How is Pantry free for restaurants?
Food manufacturers pay us. Pantry works directly with 75+ food manufacturers who want to reach independent restaurants but haven't had a good way to do it. They fund deals on products already on your menu, plus trending products that fit your menu. Our North Star is savings for the operator.
Why we built Pantry
Most rebates and trade spend from food manufacturers end up with massive chains, or get swallowed up by buying groups and distributors who never pass it on to the restaurant it was meant for. We built Pantry so independent operators get their share.
Who's behind Pantry?
Pantry is built by First Bite, which has worked with food manufacturers since 2022. More than 75 manufacturers and suppliers are in our network, and First Bite has managed over $1B in commerce for them.
